Shakespeare in the Ruins is dedicated to the health and safety of all. To this end, informed by Public Health recommendations, we’ve implemented the following policies and protocols.

What We’re Doing

All staff, crew and performers of Shakespeare in the Ruins are fully immunized, and masks are mandatory in indoor spaces.

All staff, crew and performers have access to Covid-19 rapid antigen tests and test themselves twice a week or if symptomatic. Symptomatic individuals are not permitted to come to work or to perform. Asymptomatic people with a positive Covid-19 test are also not permitted to come to work or perform.

We’ve set aside a few performances that require all audience members to be immunized to attend, the details of which are below.

What You Can Do

Be immunized! Though we don’t require audience members to be immunized for most shows, we strongly encourage everyone to be fully immunized, including their booster shot.

Wear a mask in enclosed places.

Don’t come to one of our shows while experience cough, cold, flu or Covid-19 symptoms (even if mild). We’ll reschedule your ticket!

Practice physical distancing at the venue as possible and appropriate.

Please note that while masks outside are not mandatory for attendance at this time, this could change according to public health recommendations and case numbers in the province.
