Born and raised in friendly Manitoba, Michelle is a founding member of SIR. She has participated in most of our productions. Some of her favourite roles include Beatrice, Viola, Kate, Rosalind and Amelia. Michelle has also directed King Lear, Stripped-Down R & J, and Stripped-Down A & C for SIR. While these accomplishments continue to be a source of pride, she is aware that people remember her best as the actor that entered singing and swimming up the La Salle river in SIR’s production of the Tempest.

Michelle is a proud co-director/song-writer of the Fu Fu Chi Chi Choir (with Ensemble member Sarah Constible). Combining beautiful harmonies with lyrics rife with social commentary, the Fu Fu Chi Chi can often be heard singing at events and festivals around Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.
