How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets are available to purchase on our website 24 hours a day.

Tickets may also be Purchased over the phone through our box office 204-891-9160. Our box office hours are listed below.

When are your box office hours?

Our Box Office is open from April 23rd-May 28th between 1:00pm-5:00pm, Monday-Saturday. The box office is closed on Sundays during this time.

From May 29th-June22nd the box office is open 1:00pm-3:00pm, Tuesday-Saturday. Sorry, the box office is closed on Sundays and Mondays at this time.

Advance tickets are available to purchase online 24 hours a day here.

SAME DAY TICKETS – Same day tickets can be purchased online up to 1 hour before a performance begins (6:30pm cut off for 7:30pm performances & 1:30pm cut off for 2:30pm  performances). All unsold tickets will be available to purchase in person at the park 1 hour before the performance begins.

I’ve got tickets for tomorrow’s performance, but there is rain in the forecast. Do you cancel due to rain?

No, Shakespeare in the Ruins does not cancel a performance due to rain in the forecast. We have a large tent at the park which we perform under in case of rain. We ONLY cancel a performance if there is thunder and lightning overhead at the park right before or during a performance. Please dress appropriately for the weather, as the show must go on!

Where are the Ruins?

The ‘Ruins’, as we lovingly call them, or The Trappist Monastery Heritage Provincial Park is located in St. Norbert, Manitoba at 100 Ruines du Monastere St.

Drive south on Pembina Hwy past the St. Norbert Farmer’s Market. Turn right at the lights before the bridge onto Rue des Trappistes. Turn left on Ruines du Monastere St. You can’t miss us!

I’ve purchased tickets, where do I pick them up?

Tickets are available for pick up at the Ruins box office table 45 minutes before the performance begins.

Do I need to bring a chair?

No, we provide a complimentary chair for the performance. Just dress for the weather and bring your fabulous self!

Is the park/show wheelchair accessible?

Yes! Our performances have been staged to accommodate patrons in a wheelchair.

The show I was at was rained out and cancelled. What do I do?

In the event that there are thunder storms or weather so extreme that a show has to be cancelled, we will exchange your tickets for another showing. Please call the box office during their business hours (outlined above) to exchange your tickets. Exchanges are subject to availability and we will do our very best to accommodate your request.

Is the park closed to the public during performances?

The park is closed to the general public at the time of performances. Only SIR ticket holders have access to the park at that that time.
